Libaire Hardware We use solid BRASS hardware for our zipper pulls, buckles, and rings. Each piece is cast, which means that it is brass all the way through.
Our NICKEL hardware is, at heart, the same solid brass,
colored beautifully with a nickel plating. Nickel is an extremely durable
metal and wears well. Nickel hardware is available only with black leather
unless otherwise noted. |

Here at the Libaire factory, we have scientifically tested the plating's durability by attaching a nickel zipper pull to the collar of our chocolate labrador retriever, Bodie. The hardware took more than a year of heavy abuse before showing the first signs of wear around the edges. Tough science, real durability. |
